Incredibly versatile ski for everyone who loves skiing on piste with different speeds and different turn sizes. Excellent edge grip, great control, maneuvering and dynamics. All this asserted great results in the Independent Ski Test of Snow & More magazine.
Cutter, like all our skis, are made with full wood core that blends ash and spruce resulting in super springy, yet still lightweight ski. In addition to wood, we use high tech materials, like carbon and glass fibers, graphite base and best metal edges in the industry. All those materials are put together in SANDWICH technology creating super responsive, stable and trustful ski.
ASH AND SPRUCE WOODCORE
All MONCK skis are made from poplar and ash woodcores. The wood stringers are full length (cores are glued only vertically, never horizontally) what gives consistent, high torsionall flex.
Black Locust sidewalls
We use wooden sidewall to guarantee the best grip of the ski on hard snow conditions. Black Locust doesn’t react with water therefore it’s the best choice! And boy, does it look great!
ISNHS Graphite Race Base
Isospeed Nano Highspeed Race is an ultra high molecular weight sintered base with the additon of graphite. Premium base material with the best gliding charactersitics and optimal durabilty. Has been used in multiple victories in World Cup and Olympic Races.
Japan Carbon Fiber
Made in Japan, woven in Germany, carbon fiber materials we use are top in the field. By using them, we created extremely springy and flexible ski. Moreover, in cooperation with best engineers we developed the most efficient usage of those fibers what allowed us to make lively, dampening and still light freeride ski.
Stainless Steel Upper Edges
In SL RIPPER and CUTTER we use uppers steel edge to protect your skis from scratches and chipping. You can be sure that you skis will last long years in great condition!
As a topsheet on our skis we use veneer made from natural wood. Type of wood, so the final look of a ski can be chosen from many: Oak, Ash, Palisander Santos, Satin or American Wallnut, Eucaliptus and so on. Depending on the model we use either natural oil, or 3 coats of varnish.
